The goal of our children’s ministry is for every child 4 to 12 years old to know that  Jesus loves them and so do we. Safety of our children is a primary concern. Because it is very difficult to  social distance with children, all children’s ministry is currently done online.  We have a weekly video and every 6 weeks kids receive a packet with crafts and worksheets to reinforce the story.  We always welcome new children to our ministry.  If you don’t currently receive a craft packet and an email link, and would like to, please register below or email Sandy Wood at swood@fumclvks.org.

July 12 – August 9

Some of Jesus’ most powerful teaching were from the Sermon on the mount in Matthew 5-7.  We will cover the beatitudes, loving our enemies and what Jesus said about worry.  We’ll have a special focus on the Lord’s prayer in Matthew 6. 

August 10 – 14

This summer a lot of our choices have changed, but our choices change us as well.  We will learn about Daniel and his friends and how their courageous choices changed their lives and how their choices  effected others. There will be a 45 minute session each day for younger kids at 10 am and at 11 am for older kids.  Each session will have lots of games, songs and stories. Everyone is welcome to join us. August 16 – September 7

We are built for friendships with each other and with God. We will learn about what true friendship looks like through the relationships of Ruth and Naomi, David and Jonathan, Job and his friends, and Jesus  and Peter.  Packets will be delivered August 14.
